COSTA MESA, Calif. – Judi Lapin will serve as panel moderator at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Spring Convention in Las Vegas on May 21, 2007 for a session entitled, “Underserved Urban Markets.”

The session will feature mayors from various urban communities who will be discussing their cities’ population growth, new business development, job opportunities and livability – and keys to understanding the hidden opportunities within their cities.

Panelists include the following mayors:   Sheila A. Dixon from Baltimore; Byron W. Brown from Buffalo, N.Y.; Oscar B. Goodman from Las Vegas; Jerry Abramson from Louisville, Ky.; Cory Booker from Newark, N.J.; Mick Cornett from Oklahoma City; Doug Palmer from Trenton, N.J.; and Adrian M. Fenty from Washington, D.C.  

Lapin, an ICSC trustee and 20-year industry veteran, is a frequent speaker and contributor to business journals, textbooks and industry publications that seek her expert counsel and input on branding and marketing trends across the retail and commercial real estate industries.
