NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Oct. 14, 2008 – As a part of its scope for brand strategy, Lapin Consulting Group (LCG) celebrated the groundbreaking of The Boulevards at South Bay, an $850 million mixed-use retail and residential project, with the City of Carson and the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC).
The 168-acre project, being developed by Orange County, Calif.-based developers LNR Property Corporation's Commercial Property Group and Hopkins Real Estate Group, is located in Carson, Calif. along the 405 Freeway between Avalon and Del Amo Boulevards on a former landfill site. The property will include over 1 million square feet of retail and restaurant space, more than 1,300 residential units and up to 300 hotel rooms.
"As one of our most exciting branding projects, we were selected to define the project name, logo and integrated marketing program," said Lapin Consulting Group President Judi Lapin. "We will continue to create brand tools that support leasing and public relations through to the consumer grand opening in 2012."
