The demalling of one of southern California's vintage enclosed shopping centers required not only a new brand but also a public affairs strategy for this redevelopment of LNR Property Corporation and Hopkins Real Estate Group. LCG developed the brand with concerned public and involved civic agency audiences in mind. A new logo featuring the city's flower, the 'friendship rose', was embraced by locals and LCG's community outreach program supported an open-air retail and multi-family residential plan through approval. LCG is presently launching a Grand Opening consumer marketing plan.
