With one of the industry's great open-air retail concepts in place, Cousins Properties, Inc. was experiencing the growing pains of its evolving consumer and trade marketing needs for the expanding portfolio of The Avenue. LCG was called upon to define the brand on a national level as well as work with the in-house team on co-branding all seven Avenue locations. Over a three-year period, LCG created and supported a multi-level campaign for all California, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee locations and incorporated the company's new Market Center strategy as a companion concept. The Avenues garnered stronger industry awareness and positive consumer response to a brand that imparted a new sophistication to match its lineup of brand name retailers, yet maintained the community-friendly essence that tied to both the centers' pedestrian-friendly layout and the core values of ownership.
